Managing generators at remote sites is no small task. Operations managers need to not only make sure generators are in optimal condition, but also have fuel delivered before any site runs out. Furthermore, fuel tank leaks have to be addressed as soon as they occur in order to avoid costly tower down time. Finally, once tanker trucks are sent out to fuel generators, quantities dispensed have to be controlled and monitored to make sure valuable fuel is not lost to fraud and inventory mismanagement. The FuelZone fuel management system is the all-in-one solution that addresses all of the above issues. Inexpensive and effective site equipment is used to monitor and control field equipment, while FuelZone’s cutting edge, web-based SM2 software centrally manages all critical fuel and equipment related data.

What Can FuelZone do for you?

  • Simplify central management of a virtually unlimited number of remote sites through the sophisticated, web-based SM2 software
  • Eliminate fraud and errors by physically guaranteeing that fuel is dispensed to authorized equipment only
  • Keep generators running smoothly by monitoring real-time fuel consumption data
  • Prevent costly down time by using accurate, error free engine hours to schedule timely preventive maintenance work on generators and other field equipment
  • Increase accountability by reconciling fuel inventories, from deliveries to depots, to distribution to field equipment

Major Features

  • Highly advanced, web-based software accessible from anywhere
  • Remote access to data such as generator on/off status, radiator water level, “need service” alarms, and diesel tank levels
  • Automatic inventory management, transparently recording all data needed for fuel inventory reconciliation including storage tank levels, product deliveries and pump totalizers: no human action required!
  • Remote control of field equipment such as generators and lights

GDU The Generator Data Unit is there so you don’t have to be. Once installed, the GDU will give you crucial data such as the generator’s engine hours, battery status, on/off status, and fuel level. It will also relay any fuel level alarm to recipients of your choice via SMS or email.

Proximity Disks FuelZone’s vehicle proximity disks are used to identify field vehicles and equipment. They are completely passive (requiring no wires and no external power), weatherproof, and can easily be read through dust, dirt, and mud.
PD
RF Authorizer This simple to use, pocket sized wireless device is used on the field to identify offsite equipment. Once the device identifies the equipment with a single push of a button, the tanker’s pump is wirelessly unlocked and fueling may begin.
RFA
Portable Terminal No need for any complicated wiring to control the tanker’s pump; the Portable Terminal knows which field equipment is authorized for fueling, wirelessly controls the tanker’s pump, receives vehicular data sent by VDUs, and stores all fueling data to be transferred to the central database.

Vehicle Data Unit (VDU) The little black box that says a lot! FuelZone’s Vehicle Data Unit is truly plug-and-play: no programming or configuration required. Once installed, the VDU automatically relays vehicle data such as engine hours, mileage, idle time and engine fault codes. It also automatically identifies the vehicle, physically guaranteeing that fuel is dispensed to authorized vehicles only.
VDU
Nozzle Tags FuelZone’s nozzle tags are completely passive (requiring no wires or batteries), come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and fit on any standard nozzle. They are used to automatically identify the hose used for each fueling transaction, thus making sure that the authorized vehicles taking fuel from any given hose is compatible with the fluid dispensed.
TAG
Fuel Island Terminal (FIT) The FuelZone Fuel Island Terminal is simple and inexpensive to install. It allows personnel to identify themselves and vehicles using either an alpha numeric keypad, or an RFID device such as proximity cards and tags.
FIT
SiteController The FuelZone SiteController is the central component of each site. It manages the fuel island terminal, receives fueling and vehicule data, sends that data to the central database, and keeps itself up to date with FuelZone’s SM2 software; and it does all this in real time.
